Principal's Welcome

Welcome. While we are a junior high school in name we are more of a middle school in philosophy. Our school is divided into teams to allow teachers the ability to work collaboratively to develop interdisciplinary units and to work more closely with students. The team structure is essential to ensure a relevant, integrated and personalized educational experience.

We encourage all our students to Operate Responsibly and Respectfully (O.R.R.) . We have high expectations for student behavior and achievement in and out of the classroom. It is my goal to have students grow academically, physically, emotionally, socially, and ethically. I would encourage all students to "milk the school" for all it's worth by taking advantage of the many opportunities available to them. Students should be prepared to do homework an average of 70 to 80 minutes per evening. They should also be ready for geography bees, knowledge bowl competitions, student vs. faculty football and basketball games and community service opportunities to name a few activities.

I would encourage parents and community members to be involved in our school while respecting our experience and expertise. Feel free to contact me with any concerns, suggestions or questions.
