This extensive site allows you to explore the 1930s on film, in print (don't miss the comics), on display (covering architecture, art, museums, and exhibitions), and on the air (through radio programs). It also includes an extensive timeline for each year of the decade. Be sure to scroll right as well as down to view the entire timeline.
