Biography Resource Center
This top-notch database is the best online source for your research. It includes articles from reference books as well as from periodicals on notable people from around the world, and covers both historic and contemporary figures. To find articles on a famous Hispanic American simply type the name of the individual in the search box and click on search. You can also click on "Hispanic Americans" in the Category Browse box to view a list of some of the famous Hispanic Americans covered in the database. This is only a partial list. Note: At the end of each article is a source citation that you can copy and paste to use in your bibliography or works-cited list.

Hispanic Americans in Congress.
This is an online version of a book provided by the Library of Congress. Click on Table of Contents to access a list of Hispanic Americans in Congress from 1922 to the present. Each name serves as a link to a biographical sketch which includes a photograph.

This site contains detailed biographies of many different athletes. Use the drop-down menu under each sport listed to find the names of the featured athletes from that sport.
Latino Legends in Sports Online Magazine.
Click on the name of one of twenty featured sports legends to access a biography. Some biographies offer links to additional information such as stats.
SACNAS Biography Project.
The SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science) Biography Project covers the accomplishments of Chicano/Latino and Native American Scientists. To access a biography, click on the M (for middle-school level text) or H (for high-school level text) next to the name.
